Youth Camping Trip
October 2, 2020 to October 4, 2020
5:00pm – 5:00pmCategory: Youth
We’re excited to announce…a Youth Camping Trip! Get out your tents, lanterns, and sense of adventure.
When: Check-in starts at 5 PM on Friday, October 2, and we’ll be heading back on Sunday, October 4.
Where: The Wilderness Fellowship in Frederic, Wisconsin.
Who: Any Cornerstone teen (6th-12th grade), family member of a Cornerstone teen (siblings are welcome), or youth group leader. Teens can invite friends, as long as they also register. No pets, though, sorry!
If you’re not in any of the above groups but really want to join camping, let Amy know…there will be a “friends of the youth” waitlist, and we can let you know if we have camping space.
What: A fall camping trip with organized games, teamwork challenges, devotions and worship, free time, and lots of good campfire food.
- We’ve reserved a rustic log cabin with a kitchen an indoor space for activities in case of bad weather. One lucky family will get to sleep in it, too…we’ll discuss!
- The rest of us will be setting up tents on one of the three campsites we’ve reserved, each of which can fit multiple tents. (If you’d like to come but don’t have a tent, let us know on the form.)
- There are plenty of hiking trails, tetherball, other sports fields (bring your own ball/equipment), a lake, and lots of space for things like: a glow-in-the-dark game, bonfire stories, and scavenger hunts.
- We’ll provide dinner Friday, all meals Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.
Cost: $18 per person (max of $60 per household)
Please RSVP to this form by September 27th so we know how much food to have! Details like directions, what to pack, and carpooling will be sent out immediately after sign-ups are closed. If you have questions, direct them to Amy Lokkesmoe at email@example.com or 574-371-6584.
