The Book of Psalms is the hymnbook for the people of God. These songs of worship focus our minds on the one true God. And they give words to the wide range of the emotions in our hearts as we walk with God through a fallen world. In fact, these songs shape our emotions as they become for us a place where God meets with his people and where his people respond with the worship he alone deserves.
